In your career you will spend a lot of money for flight training, equipment, traveling and ground training. Mistakes and wrong decisions can also eat up a lot of money. I saw friends and students(when I was active as flight instructor), who spent tons of money and end up never getting really started in their career. Some not even finished their training at all. Running out of money, losing motivation or interest because going in the wrong direction in the first place. I wish I had someone with experience during the first years of my career to help me avoiding my bad decisions. Now I have the chance to provide exactly this service to you and I am confident it will give you a significant advantage! My name is Stefan L. Stumpp: I am an experienced helicopter pilot and flight instructor with many different licenses from different countries over the world. It doesn´t matter in what stage of your career you are in. However, the earlier you seek my coaching, the more efficient I can help you.
• As nerd: You are helicopter-crazy? Not necessarily interested in a career as pilot but like to learn more about aerodynamics, physics, regulations or helicopters in general? I can teach you from the basics, to specific details and interesting facts you never heard about before.
• As Beginner: You are thinking about a pilot career? But you don´t know much about pilot life yet? You like to learn more about the duties of a pilot, the responsibilities, potential problems in career and if it is worth the money and effort? Want to know more about options like private finance, loans, government support, military or police career in combination? I can provide you a picture out of first hand experiences.
• When committed: You have decided to go all in? What´s next? Selecting the right flight school, or even choosing the right country? How to finance? I can help you to get started in the best possible way. I work 100% independent of any flight school, without any provision or reward.
• In Training: You are in flight training and problems are starting to develop? The right flight instructor? Questions like: “Is my school really the best choice for me? I stuck in my training/at a maneuver, I don´t know how to continue… I am scared of my first solo/cross-country flight…“. These barricades are of human nature. I personally had to deal with these question and I will give you tipps and tricks to master them, no matter how big they seem!
• The first job: “How to get flight time quickly, fly for food or am I better than that? What can I expect, what is the reality, what can I do about it? How to get a foot in the door?”.
• Already established: I do poses a lot of experience from different kind of jobs. I am sure there is always a way to improve your current career and to make you a better pilot and helping to achieve the position in helicopter and operation you are dreaming of!

I am a helicopter pilot/instructor and specialized in the rotor wing field. However a Fixed-wing career has many similarities with the one of a helicopter. I flew airplane myself and had students transferring from airplanes to helicopters and vice versa. Depending on the depth of your specialized questions, I am sure I can help and advice in fixed wing area as well to my best knowledge.

You came to the right place! As foreigner, I lived and flew in many different countries myself. I can assist with U.S. Visa questions, schools, companies and job market in foreign countries worldwide.

No! If you are interested in a ferry world, you better go to Disneyland. I am not a job broker that has tons of jobs giving out. However, yes, I can help you by coaching, in ways to get the mindset of a successful pilot that might lead to a job in the future. Even more: Not just A job, but also how to get the job you really want. I do have connections to companies, pilots and schools worldwide that definitely will be a benefit in every way. But you need to understand, that my service is not about them, not about those jobs, or about those schools. My service is about you! About you becoming and being the person getting the job you want.

I do possess a current flight instructor license to teach and train. I worked with many students, training them towards their license. However I am not a flight school and do not hold a training aircraft. I am happy to provide individual lessons as supplement to your current flight training or other special subjects wished to be discussed. Note: In case you are currently in flight training, please note that your instructor is most likely following a personalized syllabus. Parallel training with two instructors at the same time without both being on the same page, may be conflicting.

• Coaching is very individual and personal. Because I do understand this, I reject around half of the coaching applicants. My goal is not your money. My goal is to work with you to achieve what you define as your personal success.
• For coaching and mentorship it is important that both sides are of matching characters. In case of a misfit/mismatch, payments will be refund in full, or in part if any service has been already provided.
