Stefan Stumpp

May I introduce myself? My name is Stefan L. Stumpp, born and raised in Germany. Nowadays however I fell more like an American. The center of my life are these wonderful flyingmachines called helicopters. As passionate as anyone can be about anything in this world:

Started as child of maybe 10 years, working and flying big size remote control (RC) helicopters.

Later I flew RC aerobatics on competitions and as test/team pilot for manufacturers.

Shortly after my 18th birthday, I started flight training for full-size helicopter. With 19 I went to the United States for further training.

With 21 years I flew tours in and around Net York City. As well photo flights for NY Post Newspapers and individual contractors. Active as flight instructor, I was teaching a variety of licenses to differend kind of clients and students. As assistant chief of flight training, local Police Department and NYPD sent their future pilots in my cockpit for basic, advanced and special OPS training. After almost 5 years in the US, I went back to Europe to obtain further licenses. After this learning period it was time for the next adventure, which I gained by flying offshore in the Pacific Ocean. based on a fishing vessel for over a year, I had probably my most challenging time, landing in rough seas on a rolling boat on a smallheli-deck. Currently I am back in Europe transferring licenses again. You see, the sucessful pilot always learns and the journey never ends.

If you like to learn more about my person, you're welcome to ask anytime!
